Ezekiel Graystone
A moon elf from the Forgotten Isles, he was raised with his broth, Zeldren, to take over for his father as the grand archivist. The moon elves never leave the forgotten isles, and instead study history from afar, using powerful divination magic to see the world, but never experiencing it. From their seclusion, they maintain an expansive library documenting the entire history of Terriel.
However, Ezekiel’s brother was hit with an unusual bought of wanderlust, and desired to leave the Forgotten Isles. Ezekiel, concerned about what he was reading about recent revelations from their diviners, left with his brother so seek their destiny.
Early in his studies, Ezekiel found himself unable to cast highly desirable offensive Invocation magic, used by all War mages. Instead, he had knack for Summoning, Creation, Conjuration, and Dimensional spellcasting. He gained a reputation in the war as being a strategist, a title that follows him along with his former rank as Colonel. One of his most common summons is Bob (Formal name is Boblangarthenyur), an earth elemental from the plane of earth. 127 years after The Fall, Ezekiel travels the continent of Terrial with Onyx, an earth bound black leopard.
Korlac
Traveling companion of the alchemist Liarra and frequent guest at the Firefly Tavern, Korlac is a gentle giant who’s ready to play chase with Davis and Drez every time he arrives at Greencoast. His travels have taken him around the world and along the way he’s developed a gift for cooking, often preparing meals in the evening for himself and Liarra whenever they’re outside of more civilized lands.
Despite a calm demeanor and a deep steady voice, Korlac has known violence most of his life. At a young age he was press ganged into service under Farwall, tasked with hunting down escaped prisoners in the surrounding territories. During one such hunt, he was gravely injured and only survived due to the skill and alchemical expertise of Liarra, who was aiding in the prisoner’s escape.
After that fateful encounter, Korlac escaped his indentured service and became the traveling companion and protector of Liarra, who quickly became a close friend to the towering warrior. Together they earn coin while keeping their heads down to avoid attention from the crown or the church, taking contracts from all corners of Terrial.
Drez
Orphaned at a young age near the town of Greencoast, the water goblin Drez found himself alone without family or friends to speak of. Luckily, he met Davis, the son of the family that ran the Firefly tavern, and the two quickly became best friends. Unluckily, in trying to find work near the docks, he came under the indentured service of the dockmaster, Gregory.
Finding twisted humor in making the small goblin fight humans much larger than him, the dockmaster was shocked when Drez quickly adapted to fighting in the pits at the docks and was soon besting the sailors he was put up against. It was in those fights that Drez discovered a talent for unarmed combat, taking to task much larger and stronger opponents.
During one of their visits to Greencoast, Liarra and Korlac discovered Drez being forced to fight in the pits, which enraged the orc warrior. Making an ill advised bet with the dockmaster, Korlac unexpectedly won and freed Drez in the process. Now Drez serves as a dockhand, using his aquatic nature to clean ships that arrive at Greencoast for the few coins Gregory is willing to give him.
